Chris KG4UQL, Billy KK4SXT, John K4FT and Billy’s brother met at the home of Marty KE4SHC, Billy took the antenna off his tower. Marty donated a Gap Titan Vertical, trap dipole, Butternut Butterfly antenna, two 50 foot pieces of coax and two coax switches to the club. Thank you Marty !!

NEW BUISNESS

Repeater

The AC power supply went out on the new repeater. Yaesu said it is covered by warranty but it cost Marshall K4UKB $95.01 to ship it. Marshall is in the process of working with the insurance company to get reimbursed the shipping costs (minus the $25 deductible). When the repeater gets back from Yaesu, (due to arrive August 5th) Marshall, Chris KG4UQL and John K4OH will put the new repeater in the club room with a 100HZ PL tone. The old repeater will remain at the knob with a 77hz tone. This way we will have a back up and can do comparison testing. Thank you for all the time and effort you have spent on this Marshall!

K4UKB Repeater

Marshall K4UKB has his new UHF repeater on the air but the antenna is not very high right now. His new antenna and coax are ready to install on top of tower so be sure to keep trying 440.800 +5mhz shift with a pl tone of 100hz.

K4UKB made a motion to close the meeting, W9WA 2nd and the WRARC meeting closed at 8:25 pm.
