Meeting Minutes - July 1, 2008
The Wilderness Road Amateur Radio Club Meeting was called to order at 19:38 by Mike Sims, KE4YUC. In attendance were WQ4Z, KI4SXS, KA4SWT, KE4INO, KE4SHC, WD4CJN, K4FT, KE4YUC, and AG4AE.
Mike, KE4YUC, briefly discussed the Secretary' Report from June; the Treasurer's Report was not available. Doug, KA4SWT, made a motion to accept the reports with a second from Justin, KI4SXS; the reports were accepted as read.
Old Business

All members present believed that FD went well this year and appreciated the participation of the Boy Scouts. Sharon, KE4INO, stated that the food was great. George, WQ4Z, stated that the Club earned a great deal of points for having a GOTA station, operating CW and PSK, for copying the ARRL FD message, and for making some contacts on battery power; Sharon and George are currently working on the points totals and the report that is to be turned in by the end of the month.
Sharon reports that 36 persons signed the sign-in sheet over the course of the weekend. There were several visitors, including hams from other areas.
Doug stated that propagation was good, overall, and that all the stations ran on generator power for the duration of the event. George, AG4AE, took a number of pictures over the weekend and brought them to share at the meeting. - Mike stated that he has not been able to make contact with the Red Cross about the status of the new clubroom. Also, the Club members have not been able to locate a bucket truck or similar device to take down the tower in Harrodsburg.

Doug made a motion to close the meeting with a second from John, WD4CJN. The meeting closed at 20:10.
