Meeting Minutes - November 1, 2011
The Wilderness Road ARC met at the Red Cross building in Danville with 8 members and 2 guests attending.
Members present were K4UKB, KG4UQL, WQ4Z, KE4INO, W9WA, AC4K, K4FT and K4OH.

The meeting was called to order at 7:31pm by President John Montgomery K4OH.
The minutes from October were read by K4FT. K4UKB made a motion to accept the minutes as read, KE4INO 2nd the motion. The motion was approved by the members.
K4UKB reported that the account balance is $752.96. KG4UQL made the motion to accept the treasurer's report and KE4INO 2nd the motion. Members approved the motion.

Field Day
- K4OH suggested we keep this list active and keep working on it for next FD.
FOOD - We will have a Saturday evening pot-luck with the club providing the meat.
SITE - K4OH will call the shelter at Boyle county fairgrounds for June 23 & 24th 2012.
GENERATOR - K4OH drained the gas and is going to clean the carburetors.
NETWORK - WQ4Z and K4OH will network and check logging computers before FD.
BOY SCOUTS - K4UKB will check with the Scoutmaster to see if we can get them involved in FD, JOTA or other activities.
EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS - K4OH will write our elected officials soon to try and get them involved in FD. - John K4OH mailed a letter to WiMAX concerning interference to the repeater. A copy was also sent to the FCC. We are awaiting a reply from WiMax.
- John K4OH suggested we look for a free trailer to store some of the cables and FD equipment in so we have more room in the club station. Brian KI4GTD and Joel KU4KD are checking with sources. John K4OH talked to the Red Cross and they felt a surplus trailer from the state may be possible.

Elections
- Sharon KE4INO made a motion to accept the following list as the new officers of the club starting in January 2012. John K4FT 2nd and the membership approved the motion.
President = John K4OH / Vice President = Gabriel KI4QHJ / Secretary = Bill W9WA / Treasurer = Marshall K4UKB / Activity Director = John K4FT
The Board of Directors will be President K4OH, Bob KE4FMA, George WQ4Z, Chris KG4UQL and Doug KA4SWT. - Marshall K4UKB brought in some samples of business cards and QSL cards which he made. John K4OH will get some business cards made up for club members to hand out.

- Instead of the regular December club meeting we will have a Christmas dinner at Shoney's Restaurant on December 6th. Each person is responsible for their own meals. Family and friends are welcome! Please mark your calendars and come join the fellowship!
