Old Business

Field Day was discussed and it was decided that it was a total success. There was plenty of good food and plenty of radios. The computers John K4OH brought all worked great. The generator put out plenty of power and not much noise. The back up generator was not needed. They used the new N1MN plus version for logging and everyone was happy with it. It was decided to use this all the time in contests so everyone could learn and be familiar with the program. John Montgomery, K4OH, gave a short speech on how he had hooked all the computers up with the internet from his home for Field Day. He used four routers and they had 2.4 gig wifi with a steady signal.

New Business

It was discussed about the repeater chunking. No definite answers were given.

Marshall K4UKB said it is time that we must do something with the antenna on his trailer. Mike May will go look at it and see if he can get it in his barn. Juerg KK4JW was interested in the antenna if the price was quite a bit lower.

New meeting places were discussed. No definite plans were made. There is a possibility that the radio station could be set up in the trailer.

Sharon, KE4INO, will send Field Day pictures to Marshall.

The next VE session is July 23, 2016. They will have the new extra class exams.

August 20, 2016 is the North American QSO party at 2:00PM at the clubroom.
