Meeting called to order by President Mike May (KF4FMQ) at 1931 hours EST.

Past Activities Report:
The WRARC Coffee Social was on Friday, Oct 10 2025 at 0900L at Red Rooster, approx. 5 attended.
The WRARC monthly club meeting was held on September 23
VE Test session was held Oct 25, 4 Hams passed their exams, 2 Tech, 1 General and 1 Extra
The weekly WRARC OTA club net is each Wednesday evening at 2000L on the club’s 2m Repeater:
145.310 MHz with -600 kHz offset and Split PL Code 100 Hz (i.e. 100 Hz on both Tx CTCSS & Rx
CTCSS).
General meeting of The American Legion Boyle Post 46 at 1900L hours on Tuesday,October 7, 2025 (1st
Tuesday of the month) was canceled due to holiday schedule.
The Bourbon Chase was be held on 10/3, 240 runners were expected.
Old Business:
1) The club repeater was found to have feed line/connector issues and was taken off the air. Temporary
repairs have been made and the transmitter returned to service. Further evaluation and repairs can be
expected.
2) Taylor Scott (KA9CKI) was not able to attend this month’s meeting but has asked that this information
be included in the meeting.
The ARRL is supporting legislation intended to protect/change restrictions in Home Owners Associations
(HOA) to support Amateur radio operators ability to operate their stations in their homes.
3) Now is the time for membership renewal for the 2026. Members can send a check payable to
American Legion Post 46 to:

Legion Dues are: Full Members $40, Sons of The American Legion: $20 and Associate Legion Members:

New Business:
Next month, November, time for annual elections. All offices are up for election, two of four of he Directors
are also up for election. A club quorum is 8 or 9 members.
Club voted to make Model 747 Model HF Transceiver available to Burgin School Ham club.
Andy presented a summary of the Bourbon Chase. (Windsock 30ft mast was used)
Packet radio up now in the area on145.01MHZ. KY4RW-10, KF4FMQ-5, AF6MB-5
Future Activities:
NOV 8 1100 – 2000 Local, RTTY worked all of Europe, 10 -10 and All Japan DX Contest
