Monthly Meeting Minutes for May 27 2025
Hybrid meeting via Dennis’ Zoom account. (Thanks Dennis!)
Meeting called to order by President Mike May (KF4FMQ) at 1930 hours EST.
Attendees: 10 attending members and 2 guests of 39 total: (A quorum was
present.)

Previous monthly meeting was Apr 22 2025. Motion to accept Minutes of
meeting as published (via email) by Peter (KJ4ND), 2nd by Bill (W9WA). Passed
by acclamation.

Past Activities Report:
Previous WRARC hybrid monthly club meeting was on Tuesday, Apr 22 2025
(4th Tuesday of month) at 1900L and business session starting at 1930L at The
American Legion Post 46 building, 45 Spears Lane, Danville and via ZOOM.
Previous WRARC Coffee Social Friday, Apr 4 2025 (1st Friday of month) at
0900L with app. 6 in attendance
The April monthly general meeting of The American Legion Boyle Post 46 at
1900L hours on Tuesday, 6/25 (1st Tuesday of month) was held.
7th Call Area QSO Party on May 3 , we will be on the air starting at 1300 EDT
at the clubroom. App. 6 attended.
The Weekly WRARC OTA club net was conducted each Wednesday evening at
2000L on the club’s 2m Repeater.
Old Business:
The monthly WRARC Club social Coffee will be on Friday May 2, 0900 at the
Red Rooster.
Field Day is on June 28 &29, 6 club members are planning on attending.
KY QSO Party is scheduled for June 7.
The MS Bike ride around Bardstown is looking for amateur radio volunteers,
June 14 and 15 to keep track of the riders and help them as needed. Meals and
lodging and fuel used will be provided.
New Business:
The Club Secretary position is open if someone is interested in taking on this
duty.
The monthly WRARC Club social Coffee will be on Friday June 6, 0900 at the
Red Rooster. Mike will send out an email to determine the number attending.
Field Day is on June 28 & 29, 6 club members are planning on attending. Setup
help will be needed on 6/27 @1000. Planning to be on air at 1300-1400 on 6/28
KY QSO Party is scheduled for June 7.

club’s 2m Repeater: 145.310 MHz with -600 kHz offset and Split PL Code 100
Hz (i.e. 100 Hz on both Tx CTCSS & Rx CTCSS).
Next monthly general meeting of The American Legion Boyle Post 46 at 1900L
hours on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 (1st Tuesday of the month).
Next VEC Testing: Saturday, Jul 26 2025 starting at 1000L at The American
Legion Post 46 building, 45 Spears Lane, Danville, KY. See

required.
