Next month we will have to pay our insurance bill ($100).
Past Activities Report:
The WRARC Coffee Social was held at Red Rooster 4 members and 1 guest attended.
March 7, We participated in the ARRL SSB contest
The weekly WRARC OTA club nets were held
The American Legion Boyle Post 46 meeting was held March 3rd.
Old Business:
We still need to have someone to take over Club website updates.
New Business: - The Post will be participating in the July 4th 250th anniversary Parade in Danville.
- We discussed whether the club wants to get more certificates for the wall, the money will be
paid to the ARRL through LogBook of the World. Dennis made a motion to get certificates,
cost would be about $22 per, not to exceed $120 total. - We hope to be participating in the Field Day exercise, end of June. Discussed if we want to
do that in a more public area than the pavilion at the Post. Also discussed if we wanted to
be part of the 250 year anniversary. Regina has contact info for the city.
Future Activities:
April 11, 4 separate State will have active Contests.
The WRARC Coffee Social is scheduled for Friday, April 3rd 2026 (1st Friday of month) at
0900L at Red Rooster. Who is going to attend?
The weekly WRARC OTA club net is each Wednesday evening at 2000L on the club’s 2m
Repeater: 145.310 MHz with -600 kHz offset and Split PL Code 100 Hz (i.e. 100 Hz on both
Tx CTCSS & Rx CTCSS).
Got a certificate for participating in the 2025 PA QSO Party, took #1 in our KY Section
Burgin School Ham Radio club meeting Friday March 27. We hope to drill holes for new
antennas then.
Next monthly general meeting of The American Legion Boyle Post 46 at 1900L hours on
Tuesday, April 7th, 2026 (1st Tuesday of the month).
Next VEC Testing: Saturday, April 25, 2026 starting at 1000L at The American Legion Post
46 building, 45 Spears Lane, Danville, KY. See

Next WRARC hybrid monthly club meeting will on Tuesday, April 28th, 2026 (4th
Tuesday of month) at 1930L and business session starting at 1930L at The American
Legion Post 46 building, 45 Spears Lane, Danville and via ZOOM.
