Meeting called to order by President Mike May (KF4FMQ) at 1931 hours EDT.
Attendees: 14 attending members of 42 total: (A quorum was present.)

Past Activities Report:
o Previous Weekly WRARC OTA club net was conducted each Wednesday evening at
2000L on the club’s 2m Repeater.
o Previous WRARC hybrid monthly club meeting was on Tuesday, 24 OCT 2023 (4th
Tuesday of month).
o Previous VEC Testing was: Saturday, 28 OCT 2023 starting at 1000L at The American
Legion Post 46 building, 45 Spears Lane, Danville, KY.
o Previous WRARC Coffee Social was on Friday, 3 NOV 2023 (1st Friday of month) at 0900L
via ZOOM.
o Previous AMLEG Post 46 D-STAR NET (1st Monday of month) was conducted on 6 NOV
2023 (1st Monday of month).
o Previous monthly general meeting of The American Legion Boyle Post 46 was 1900L
hours on Tuesday, 7 NOV 2023 (1st Tuesday of month).
o Previous Club Activity was: FOX HUNT on 18 NOV 2023.
Old Business:
o WRARC Club Dues. Annual club dues for 2024 are now being accepted.
Full Legion members are $30 and can be paid online with a credit card at
www.legion.org and click on “Renew”.
Sons of the American Legion are $20 and can be paid by check.
Legion Associate members are $30 and can be paid by check.
All checks should be made out to “The American Legion Post 46” and mailed to
Ken Douglass, 108 Chandler Drive, Danville, KY 40422.
o 24 of 41 current members have already paid their dues for 2024.
o WRARC ELECTIONS. Club elections are held in November for Club Officers.
o Melissa Jones, an Army veteran from Perryville, was a guest at last month’s meeting.

New Business:
o WRARC Club Dues. Annual club dues for 2024 are now being accepted.

o WRARC ELECTIONS. Club elections are held in November for Club Officers (1 yr term)
and two Directors (2 yr term) who take office on 1 January. 20% required for quorum to
hold elections, 42 active members to date. (e.g. 9 members are required to be in
attendance for quorum). Last year Directors # 1 & 2 were elected. This year new
Directors # 3 & 4 will be elected.
Harold (AF6MB) made a motion to retain all current officers and the two
directors who are all up for re-election. 2nd by Gene (KO4IVI). Passed by
acclamation.

o A special VE test session has been requested by Doug Rulon, teacher (KO4WDE) for
several of his Burgin Independent (school) ARC students (KQ4CWT). Date TBD.
o Discussion on shadowing club Treasurer duties was tabled until JAN 2024 club meeting.
o Discussion on review of AmLeg Post 46 – WRARC joint MOA was tabled until JAN 2024
club meeting.
Future Activities:
o Next weekly WRARC OTA club net is each Wednesday evening at 2000L on the club’s 2m
Repeater: 145.310 MHz with -600 kHz offset and Split PL Code 100 Hz (i.e. 100 Hz on
both Tx CTCSS & Rx CTCSS).
o Next WRARC Coffee Social is on Friday, 1 DEC 2023 (1st Friday of month) at 0900L via
ZOOM.
o Next AMLEG Post 46 D-STAR NET (1st Monday of month) is 2000L on 4 DEC 2023 on
REF56C via our local D-STAR repeater KM4OON, +5 MHz offset, 444.2375 MHz & no PL
tones.
o Next monthly general meeting of The American Legion Boyle Post 46 will be at 1900L
hours on Tuesday, 5 DEC 2023 (1st Tuesday of the month).
o The Club Activity for December 2023 is canceled due to the holidays.
o The WRARC hybrid monthly club meeting for DECEMBER 2023 is canceled due to the
holidays.
o Next WRARC hybrid monthly club meeting will on Tuesday, 23 JANUARY 2024 (4th
Tuesday of month) at 1900L and business session starting at 1930L at The American
Legion Post 46 building, 45 Spears Lane, Danville and via ZOOM.
o Next VEC Testing: Saturday, 27 JAN 2024 starting at 1000L at The American Legion Post
